FAQ’s
- Do you pierce with a piercing needle or a piercing gun?
- At Pink Swan our expert piercing professionals are trained with hollow needle piercing technique. This is the safest, most hygienic way to pierce. We do not utilize a piercing gun in any of our services.
- How old do I have to be to get pierced? Do you pierce Minors?
- All clients must be of 18 years of age to be eligible for a piercing*
- *Minors are accepted only while a legal guardian is present
- A government issued ID will be required during your appointment
- How many piercings can I get during one visit?
- No more than three piercings is recommended.
- What earrings can I get pierced with?
- We only pierce with our own flat back threadless studs. We do not accept outside jewelry at the moment. Please reach out to us to learn more about our piercing jewelry.
- How do I care for my piercings after my appointment?
- Avoid twisting your earrings, sleeping on your piercing side, touching them constantly can all cause irritation to the piercing site.
- Avoid using alcohol, peroxides, oils etc on the piercing site. Strictly saline solution should be used.
- When should I downsize my piercings?
- Downsizing is recommended within 3-4 months after your piercing appointment. If you are experiencing any discomfort to the piercing area or have developed a piercing bump please contact us to make a follow up appointment so that our staff can do a check up of that area.
- Downsizing is when we switch the backing of the earring to a shorter length to allow the post to sit more flush and avoid the backing (labret) to get caught on hair or clothing.
